Jim Croce - Time in a bottle - 1973

Can you feel the words? So sad this man, Jim Croce, died a short time after making this classic. I still pray the right man is hearing these words from me.....

Dad's day is coming up. Make sure you give your grown kids a call just to see, "What's Up?". It is your job to keep up if they allow it. Some grown sons shed their mothers. Single mothers often carry the burden of being both parents. Their strength is of two people. Their ego is formed by ethics, standards, and principles, of a loving parent, one person teaching as if two people. One is very strong so the children will feel safe; the other is for the secret one that holds all of our infirmaries. Once the kids are long gone, it's the infirmaries that live on, with a happy spirit, and that is what the young men leave behind. Try to stay in touch with the new monster version of your little munchkins. Kitty
